Postage and Shipping

Postage within Australia:

When you order a product, if it is already made, your item will be posted within 1-3 business days. If your item is handmade I will post it usually within 1-5 business days. Your order confirmation will have an estimated shipping date on it.  If there is a delay due to stock shortages or it's a Preorder please ready listing as it will give you an estimate. I will contact you to let you know when your item will be despatched and keep you informed as much as possible. Once your order is made, packed and ready to go you will be sent a tracking notification for either d livery via courier or Australia Post.

My postage is set at a flat rate based on the $ value of how much you spend rather then the weight of the item. Most small items post for around $8-$12 depending on the item. If you are over charged I will refund the difference.  Postage is Free for orders over $100 after discounts are applied. This excludes large bulky items. For large bulky items please select bulky item freight at checkout. It is capped at $25. So you can order other bulky items or add smaller items in the same order and pay no extra postage. 

I post all parcels with tracking regardless whether it is sent as a letter or a Parcel and regardless whether the customer has paid for tracking. Unfortunately postage guidelines set by Australia Post are rarely met. So items going outside of NSW can take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to arrive it dramatically varies depending on your location and the time of year it is.

I use Fastways and Couriers Please as well as Australia Post. It depends where you live which method will be used. I also select the cheapest efficient method. You will be sent tracking information either through a Email or Messenger. 

Lost Items:

Australia Post will not let the seller lodge a lost item claim till after the expected delivery date, plus any days that they are known to be behind. So if the expected delivery date was 6 days after it is posted and they know they are behind by 3 days, you can't claim it's lost till after 9 days. At busy times they may know they are behind by 10 days so you can't lodge a lost item complaint till 16 days. Whilst postage delays are very frustrating, these delays are not in the sellers control.

Please note Australia post counts only business days, so weekends and public holidays do not count in their expected delivery times.

If your item is lost in transit, I will refund you or replace the item, provided Australia Post has confirmed that the item is lost. I do not refund for delays in shipping that are outside my control.

International Postage:

International postage is calculated at checkout based the $ value of the order. This amount is an estimate only. Once your order is packed and weighed any over charge on freight will be refunded to you. We sell such a variable type of product international freight is very difficult to calculate in advance. We only charge actual cost of shipping so that is why we will refund you if you have paid too much at checkout. You will be asked to pay any extra postage costs before your order is dispatched if your estimate is not enough to cover the cost. 

Small light items such as inserts, dashboards and stickers orders are sent as Letters and do not have tracking if they weight under 250grams for $3.00 If they are 250grams - 500grams freight Internationally is approximately $9.  Once it exceeds 500grams it is a parcel and starts at around $25 and varies depending on weight size of parcel and destination country. All orders over $50 are sent as a Parcel. Parcels have tracking.

If at checkout you think the freight is too high, please email me for an accurate quote. 

If a parcel has not reached it's destination in 4 weeks a lost item search will be lodged. A refund or replacement will be issued once item has been returned to the seller or is declared as lost by Australia Post.

If a letter has not reached it's destination within 6 weeks it will be refunded or replaced and the second order will be sent tracked.

Damaged in Transit:

All care is taken to prevent damage during postage. If your item is damaged during transit. A photo of the damaged of the item needs to be emailed to me so I can determine whether a replacement or refund is warranted. If it is just the packaging that is damaged. This is the Postal services fault or the weather and is unavoidable. Whilst this damage is regrettable, no refund will be issued unless the product inside is damaged.
